panic somewhat abated
i collected the most gorgeous cake (darkfudge with coffe/choc icing with after eight dinner mints and coffee praline choclates and many many chocolate sprinkles) and even if the whole thing goes pear shaped, so long as he gets a slice of that i've made it.

alan knows he has to be out for a couple hours til eight on saturday
paul is distracting him.

On the plus side, he knows I have a nefarious plan, which makes its easier to get things sorted out. He’s also been told its not to do with his birthday. So hopefully he’ll still be surprised. Now I just have to organise cakes and getting him out the house for a couple of hours on Saturday. A shopping run will also be in order sometime next week to stock up on crisps, soda and the like. These can hide in the car.
I’m actually getting quite nervous about the whole thing. |

the non-gamer filter
thanks for the feedback on surprise birthday
given that our birthday falls between conplusion and beltaine
i think scaling back might be the best idea
someone also pointed that I could have it before hand
so i'm thinking April 1, the weekend after conplusion
at our place, from 8
if you can make it for before 8, you get to do the happy birthday thing
if you can't make it till after that, please check so you don't ruin the surprise.
other arrangements
cake baking, need to find somewhere to get this done
finding someone to get alan out of house until 8 |

as you may or may not know, me and gamer have the same birthday (everyone say awwww!!!)
APril 15
we did nothing for my 30th last year, my choice, but kinda wish i had
so this year is gamers 30th birthday (and mine to)
I am considering having a surprise birthday for him.
our birthday falls on a saturday this year, however, it is two weekends before beltane
so (not up to doing a survey)
who would be interested in coming/assisting (obviously most people here would be coming to my birthday, but I can round up people for his bit as well)
should i reschedule it for after beltane
suggestions on where
and would angus/graham interested in assiting for the dj'ing. |
